Vanilla first

The familiar game is the point.

Greyhaven is not trying to rebuild every class or replace Azeroth with a custom campaign. Classes, combat, professions, exploration, and the social side of Vanilla remain at the center.

When a change is proposed, players should be able to see the idea, the tradeoffs, the poll, and the result. Some ideas will make the realm better. Others will be left alone.

How decisions are made

Suggest it. Discuss it. Test it. Decide.

Community-shaped does not mean every suggestion is added. It means important decisions happen in public and changes have to prove they belong.

  1. 01 Suggestion

A player or staff member puts forward a clear idea.

  2. 02 Public discussion

The benefits, risks, and Classic fit are considered openly.

  3. 03 Testing

Promising changes are tested carefully before they become permanent.

  4. 04 Published outcome

The result and reasoning are recorded for the community.

Current realm changes

What is actually different.

01

Progressive Level Brackets

Level caps rise in stages so every stretch of Vanilla has time for dungeons, professions, PvP, and community rivalries to develop.

02

Queue Battlegrounds Anywhere

Join with .queue WSG, .queue AB, or .queue AV. Check your level bracket at any time with .queue check WSG and its AB or AV equivalent.

03

No World Buffs in Raids

Raid progression is built around class kits, preparation, and execution, not mandatory world-buff stacking.

04

Unified Auction House

Alliance, Horde, and neutral auction houses share one healthy economy while preserving normal deposits, cuts, and mail delivery.

05

Unlimited Debuff Slots

Groups are not constrained by Vanilla's original debuff cap, opening room for more classes, specs, and strategies.

06

Player Bounty Board

Fund a contract through a bounty broker, with gold held safely in escrow and paid for the first qualifying open-world PvP kill. A bounty never reveals the target's live location or adds a visible marker, debuff, map icon, or tracking effect.

07

Instant Same-Account Mail

Mail between characters on the same account arrives immediately. Mail between different accounts keeps its authentic one-hour delivery.

08

Battleground Restriction Barriers

Custom battleground barriers prevent safe-capping and block known under-the-map exploit routes while preserving normal PvP play.

09

Free Talent Respecs

Reset your talents for free whenever you want to change roles, experiment with a new build, or switch between PvE and PvP.

10

Platform Client Support

Windows players can choose 1.12.1 with VanillaFixes or Classic Era 1.14.2. Linux uses the confirmed working 1.12.1 and VanillaFixes setup.

11

Final Vanilla Itemization

Available items use their final 1.12 values, while items and content from later stages remain progression locked.

12

Faction World Chat

Alliance and Horde each have a realm-wide World channel with useful battleground queue announcements.

13

Dynamic Respawns

Busy quest areas respond to nearby population pressure while retaining sensible minimum timers for elites and indoor encounters.

Every phase gets its moment

Start together. Let every phase matter.

Level brackets and staged content keep early zones, dungeons, professions, and world PvP relevant instead of turning them into scenery on the rush to 60.

Progressive journey

Fresh means more than an empty database.

Level caps, raids, dungeons, vendors, and itemization open in stages so each part of Vanilla has time to be played properly.

Battleground queues go realm-wide

Players can queue for WSG, AB, and AV from anywhere, check their bracket's faction counts, and follow periodic WSG queue reports in World chat.

Honor

Honor qualification set to 15 kills

The weekly minimum is tuned for Greyhaven's growing population, and eligible characters were recalculated without discarding post-reset progress.

Our promise

You will not find power in a checkout.

Greyhaven is anti-P2W. We are not here to make money; we are building the kind of Classic realm we want to play on too.

The community hearth

Most decisions start in Discord.

Bring a suggestion, vote in a poll, report a bug, or ask the team directly. Discord is also where to go for account, connection, gameplay, or other support issues. This is where the realm's direction is discussed and recorded.
